Kris Carr is a London-based writer/director with a taste for the strange and boldly cinematic. Working across horror, dark comedy and genre-inflected storytelling, his films often explore the absurd edges of human behaviour with a sharp visual style and a grounded emotional core.
He co-wrote and directed The Young Cannibals, a creature feature released on Prime Video, Sky Store and the Horror Channel - a practical-effects-driven debut that reflects his love of monsters, myth and contained, character-led chaos.
His short films and music videos have screened at internationally recognised festivals including the BFI London Film Festival, Fantasia International, FrightFest, Aesthetica and the Leeds International Film Festival, where his work has developed a reputation for offbeat concepts, tonal confidence and striking imagery.
